One Golden Nugget

So... baaasically... I can't even tell you how incredible serving the Lord as one of his missionaries is. But really. Like, seriously.

So many little golden nuggets pop up and make you jump a little BECAUSE THEY ARE SO AMAZING.

This is only one.
but don't you even worry, you will know about looottts more :)

So here is the situation.

I'm walking into the Visitors' Center for Specialized Training. I see this Senior Missionary couple who looks familiar,  but I didn't recognize them. Then everyone is freaking out over this guy who was on a Mormon message and they carry me into the room to meet him (not literally carry). And my heart felt so warm and fuzzy and tickly :) and he held my hand with both of his and shook it and just smiled.

Apparently, he's a piano prodigy named Kuha'o who is BLIND.

This is him. He is so amazing.

Well this isn't it, people.

We all go downstairs and I am sitting behind the Senior Couple. They get up to bear their testimony, because they just lost their son and his wife in a very sad and horrible way and BY CHOICE, they decided to come back and serve the Lord.

THEN Kuho'a walks in. He decided he wanted to play for us and so we all stand up and start singing "Called to Serve."

"Called to serve Him, heav'nly King of glory,Chosen e'er to witness for his name,
Far and wide we tell the Father's story,Far and wide his love proclaim."

For the duration of that song, I am not even kidding, time froze. I looked around and I saw the Senior Couple, President, all of these missionaries, at the base of the sacred hill, then Kuho'a smiling so big and singing along and tears filled my little eyes.

"Onward, ever onward, as we glory in his name; Onward, ever onward, as we glory in his name;
Forward, pressing forward, as a triumph song we sing. God our strength will be; press forward ever,

Called to serve our King."

"Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God, ye are called to the work." // D+C 4:3

I know that what I am doing is right.
Called to serve FOR LIFE.
