One sunny day in the great LV, I was walking hand in hand with my momma when she told me I was about to get a Baby Sister.
On February 20, 1998 she was the newest, purest, cutest little baby in the U.S. of A.
Sixteen years later, and whaBAM she is a five foot SUPER MODEL, Sophomore Class President, and paints nails like the true Vietnamese girl she is.
It is also Sister Robert's birthday which is why we are wearing Cheetah print :D

I do not know if there is one more outwardly loving Missionary than Sister Roberts. She is a bold teacher and is merciful to the mistakes of others. DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE. Anyways, I am grateful she was born on this day and is living out her role in this world. The NYRM is a better place because of her.
And then there is my Sister. She is literally the coolest person you will ever meet. She is ten thousand times more hilarious than who even knows what. She comes up with the most genius and insane ideas. Dress up like gypsies and play cards? Check. Tran-beca movie festival? CHECK. She is one of my favorite people in this world (the rest of my family being the other six), and she rocks life like a boss. She is the most unashamed at being HERSELF. She came into this world her own person, and she will leave the same way.
We all have birthdays. Hip-hurray for that, because I, for one, love Birthday parties. Pinatas aren't my thing, but goodie bags and DDR ARE. Woah, that rhymed.
The fact of the matter is, we all came into this world with inherent gifts from Heavenly Father. That's right, the One who knows us by name, our literal Father in Heaven who has created worlds WITHOUT END, gave YOU ________ (fill in name) GIFTS. Tons of them.
I have them, you have them, we ALL HAVE THEM.
So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL YOU HUMANS OUT THERE.
It's your time to shine right NOW. Do it to it. Let that ravening wolf out of your system and let him DANCE. Weird analogy? Sorry. How about IF YOU LIKE TO BE ORGANIZED, organize the world. If you are a master of making others laugh, laugh until your head turns blue and get the whole world to laugh with you. If you like PEACE and SERENITY, bring a lot zen up in here. What ever YOU DO, whatever gifts God has given you, SHARE IT! When you let your light shine, you let Christ's light shine. He is the greatest light of all. You also let others see the rudiments of God in you. You are His child. I JUST LOVE THAT.
Trample whatever fear you have.
SHINE.
The world, no matter how dim or big it seems, WILL BE a better place because of it.

Oh, and someone out there tell my Hannah Tran, HAPPY SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY. She is the dance party to my Kitchen and I love her more than my little halfsie Asian self can even say. SOOOO happy the gospel made it possible for that love to last forever AS FAMILY.
